How PortugalPermit handles information when you visit this website.
Scope
This website presents PortugalPermit and its services. It has no immigration application form or public contact form, so please do not send identity documents or immigration records through it. Public self-registration is closed; authorized accounts can sign in, and visitors can join the registration-opening notification list.
Information used to deliver the website
Visiting the website involves technical information such as your IP address, the pages requested, browser information and request times. Vercel provides website hosting and processes requests to deliver pages and support website security. Cloudflare provides DNS services to direct your browser to the website; it does not proxy website traffic. Technical information may be recorded in hosting and security logs. Hosting log retention depends on the provider’s service and configuration.
Cookies and your browser
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts are served from this website. Your language choice stays in the page URL. Browser session storage remembers scroll positions for back and forward navigation. Account access uses necessary authentication cookies managed through Supabase. These are renewed during session refresh and have a browser lifetime of up to thirty days; server-side expiry, logout or suspension can end access sooner. You can clear these through your browser settings; the Cookie Policy explains their purposes and durations.
Accounts and registration-opening notifications
Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. Account records include email, assigned roles, organization membership and access timestamps. Administrators control access while public registration is closed. With your consent, the notification list stores your email, language, submission date and consent version for the opening announcement only, without a marketing subscription. Save the withdrawal link provided when submitting a new subscription; using it stops that notification. Security controls use limited request counters to reduce abuse.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and the applicable legal conditions, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
Independence from public authorities
PortugalPermit is an independent company, not affiliated with the Portuguese Government, AIMA, IRN or the Portuguese consular network.
Decisions and processing times rest with the competent authorities. PortugalPermit does not promise approvals or faster processing.
